Phelps Community Impact: Volunteering & Giving Back in 2022
At Phelps, we take pride in our community impact. During the 2022 winter season, our team gave back in many ways, donating supplies, volunteering time, and even hosting our first-ever blood drive!
Our First Blood Drive with ImpactLife
In November, Phelps partnered with ImpactLife to host a company blood drive. Employees signed up for donation time slots and gave the gift of life in the ImpactLife mobile donation trailer.
- 13 donors participated
- 13 units of blood collected
- Those donations can help up to 39 patients and their families in Muscatine County and surrounding areas.
We’re proud of our team’s compassion and can’t wait to host this event again next year!
We care about the communities we live and work in!
Freezing for Food: Supporting Families in Need
Our marketing team braved the cold for the Two Weeks of Love: Freezing for Food campaign, benefiting the Salvation Army.
Even the freezing temperatures couldn’t stop our team from collecting food and monetary donations for families in need.

Angel Tree Program: Spreading Holiday Cheer
The Phelps’ sales team joined the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, helping local children and families select gifts for the holiday season.
It was a heartwarming reminder that even small acts of kindness can create lasting joy in our community.
Supporting It Takes a Village Animal Rescue
Throughout the year, Phelps supports It Takes a Village Animal Rescue, donating much-needed items like wet wipes and cleaning supplies.
These contributions help volunteers provide care, comfort, and essentials to animals awaiting their forever homes.

Looking Ahead: Continuing Our Community Impact in 2023
Giving back is one of the best parts of being part of the Muscatine community. We’re always exploring new ways to volunteer, support local organizations, and make a difference together.
Thank you to all our employees and partners who helped make this season of giving so special!
