At Phelps, we gave back in many new ways in the 2022 winter months donating supplies, volunteering time, and even giving blood!

Our first ever blood drive held in November was a huge success! Employees signed up for time slots to enter the ImpactLife trailer to donate blood. Of our thirteen donors, 13 units of blood were collected. Those 13 units will have the ability to improve the lives of up to 39 patients and their families in Muscatine County and the surrounding region! We hope to bring this event back next year! Next, our marketing team was happy to give up some time in their work week to Two Weeks of Love: Freezing for Food benefitting The Salvation Army. Although it was cold, we had fun accepting donations of food and money for those in need!

Our sales team was also happy to pitch in during the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program! They had a great time helping kids and parents pick out gifts for under their tree!

Phelps is also happy to make several donations throughout the year to It Takes a Village Animal Rescue. Over the past few months, volunteers from the shelter have come to pick up much needed items like, wet wipes and cleaning supplies!

Giving back to our community is one of our favorite things to do and we are always on the look out for more volunteering opportunities! We cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store!
